Set up by Donore Credit Union and local residents in this part of Dublin 8 in 2023.
Our mission is to empower our community to shape and build a low carbon, sustainable community in a coherent way through the themes of Community Energy, Community Travel, Community Food and Waste, Local Climate and Environmental Action and Community Shopping and Recycling.
We hope to create real impact on our area with additional green spaces/a greening strategy, community energy retrofits, more active travel, better public transport, and a more bio diverse public realm.
We are dedicated to driving positive change in our community through a variety of impactful projects. Through collaborative efforts and community engagement, we strive to create a cleaner, healthier, and more vibrant community for all residents to enjoy. Here are some of the projects that we have done so far.
The Committee consists of local residents from the area including the Tenters, Maryland, Weavers park, Griffith College, Aloft Dublin City and Donore Credit Union
